Website Operation Guideline
Article 1 (Purpose)
These standards are based on comprehensive information on the Kusatsu City International Exchange Association (hereinafter referred to as the ``Association'') and other information that contributes to ``international exchange,'' ``multicultural understanding,'' and ``support for foreign residents'' using the Internet. Necessary matters regarding the operation of the homepage (hereinafter referred to as the "homepage") established by the association for the purpose of providing information shall be determined.
Article 2 (Operation of homepage)
The association's secretariat will handle the formulation of homepage utilization policies, general coordination of information posted on the homepage, and configuration management.
2. In addition to what is stipulated in the preceding paragraph, if there are any matters that require consultation regarding the operation of the website, the president of the association and the secretary general of the association will discuss and decide.
Article 3 (Standards for posted information)
The information posted on the website is information prepared for publication, such as public relations papers published by Kusatsu City, public relations papers published by associations, pamphlets, booklets, etc., "International Exchange", "Multicultural Understanding", "Foreign Residents", etc. shall be deemed necessary to promote "Support" and to promote meaningful exchange of information and opinions among Association members.
2. Efforts shall be made to always post the latest information.
Article 4 (Creation of published information)
Necessary matters regarding the creation of information, etc. shall be determined by the association secretary general.
2. In addition to what is provided for in the preceding paragraph, the work necessary to create published information shall be performed with the cooperation of the association secretariat and association members requested by the association secretariat, or by a contractor commissioned by the association secretariat.
Article 5 (Disclaimer)
The Association assumes no responsibility for the accuracy or suitability for specific purposes of information obtained by website users through the use of the website. Furthermore, we shall not be held responsible for any damage caused by this information.
2. Any damage caused to homepage users due to linked sites shall be resolved by the owner of the linked site, and the Association shall not be responsible for any such damage.
Article 6 (Delegation)
In addition to what is stipulated in these standards, matters necessary for the operation of the website shall be separately determined by the association's secretary general.
Additional provisions
This standard will come into effect from February 10, 2003.
This standard will come into effect from November 19, 2004.
This standard will come into effect from October 1, 2010.
